In the only rankings that really matter to Colorado high school football teams, the Bears are right in the thick of the playoff hunt. The Bears are the #8 team in the CHSAA Wildcard points this week. At the end of the season, the wildcard standings will be used to determine which teams make the playoffs and how the 16 playoff teams will be seeded.

With a 6-1 record, Bears are the first West Slope League team in the rankings, which means that if they win the remaining three games on the schedule, they will almost certainly win a top 8 seed and the home playoff game that comes along with it.
