It was a tough week for the Rifle community, the Rifle football team, and starting center Jake Whaley. Tragedy struck as Jake Whaley’s mother, Stacey, passed away earlier in the week. The entire Rifle football family extends its thoughts and prayers to the Whaley family in this incredibly difficult time.
Jake was the definition of courage in his efforts in Saturday’s game.
